Last week I was given the invitation to do some work for a great job, a large sticker book with princesses. Great I thought! Then when I asked about budget I was told no budget in place as yet could I just carry on with a cover design please? I declined to do this as it isn't good practice to start work not knowing a budget first. So after the weekend the client then came back saying actually we've changed what we are looking for. Now we only need backgrounds and could I copy someone else's style and do this for deadline of 2 weeks. I wasn't happy about doing any of it after all unfortunately :0(
So here is a little princess I did just for fun...she has a lovely little bowl of cookies! Yeah!

I'm sorry that the project ended up being disappointing. I think the most frustrating thing is we as illustrator's spend so much time developing and refining our own styles, are picked based on that and they ask you to change it/copy someones else's style.
