I recently got a couple of Sigur Ros cds so been giving them a few spins.
I really like their music in the fabulous film "Vanilla Sky".
I must admit been quite lazy not putting anything on here music wise.
Sometimes I feel it interferes with concentration though when working.
This week I 'ave been mostly listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers. I find only certain music 'helps' me paint - Aerosmith, White Stripes, Guns'n'Roses and the like - must be the noise level!

ReplyDeleteWhen I am designing and have to think, I usually do that in silence.
The person that springs to mind at the moment who I like is Joanna Newsom, do you like her music?

ooh I like red hot chilli peppers too Caroline but not sure I could work with them on- he he! I find more and more, music s distracting me so listening to it less :0((
ReplyDeleteI know of Joanne Newsom Penny-saw her on Jools Holland a while back and she was good -I have on of her songs on my itunes but can't remember what one it is-about sucking lemons!
Today I've been melting glass to David Bowie. I'm kinda Bowie-obsessed at the moment!
